Experience and Qualifications
Qualified since 1994 to administer the MBTI®. Area of type expertise: Type and Writing Style; author of the workbook Write from the Start: Discover Your Writing Potential Through the Power of Psychological Type.
I have been a writing instructor for over thirty years on the high school and college levels as well as in businesses and organizations. I use type to help my students break writer’s block and to relate to many different kinds of audiences. The advice I give my students is to write from their preferences and to revise from their non-preferences. I have also given several workshops on this subject at regional and international APT conferences. I am now in private practice in Chapel Hill and Carrboro, North Carolina and am currently accepting clients.
