For years people have asked how the MBTI® instrument related to the DiSC®: instrument and the Social Styles models. Now, here is the answer: The Four Berens' Interaction Styles. This model of personality addresses how we do what we do—our style of interacting with others. The behaviors are very visible and easily understood. The basics can be introduced in 2-3 hours in a very safe way and can be related to what has already been done in the organization with other instruments. It makes a good starting point to build up to the 16 Types or a new way to honor individual differences.

About the Trainer: Linda Berens is an organizational consultant who has spent over twenty-five years teaching professionals as well as helping individuals and teams recognize their strengths, transcend their weaknesses, and work together better. Linda is recognized internationally for her theoretical contributions to the field of psychological type and for developing user-friendly training materials for practical application of understanding individual differences.  She is the author of numerous books, including: Understanding Yourself and Others®: An Introduction to Temperament; Understanding Yourself and Others®: An Introduction to Interaction Styles; and Dynamics of Personality Type: Understanding and Applying Jung's Cognitive Processes.

About the Training: Conflict is everywhere. When it is well managed, it is the lifeblood of teams.  However, it more often leads to incredible waste of time, loss of productivity, and even contributes to distractions that compromise safety. We all need to learn to deal with conflict so that it is used productively. We need StyleShift™ skills that give us the flexibility for better communication, more effective leadership, and more productive teamwork.  In this workshop, you will . . .
