Did you hear the one about the Extroverted Intuitive’s exercise program?

He goes to the sporting goods store, has a great chat with the sales person, buys all the gear, goes to the gym, joins the club, has a great meeting with the personal trainer. . . unfortunately, he can’t understand why he hasn’t lowered his blood pressure!

Or the Introvert who joins the health club but never goes because they only offer “group” exercise classes?

This workshop will explore how the body is a tool for type development.
Lifelong growth includes a great opportunity to live fully in the realms of mind, body, spirit, and emotion. “Being Functionally Fit” takes a look at how our type preferences and our learned habits effect how we view and live in each of the realms. As we multi-task and grow more mature, our bodies often take the toll. So, what gets us motivated for physical activity and keeps us moving?
“Fitness” is defined as a state of readiness. Being “functionally fit” refers to the integration of the mind, body, and spirit as we grow towards wholeness. Using the elements from a variety of movement forms, we will discover how our types respond, what intrigues or repels us, and what to do about it.

Participation in the program is open to all levels of fitness. Some movement will be demonstrated and guided (movement is optional). Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel or mat.
