What is the shadow side of your type code? You probably know it well, but if not, you can find out at this free program. New exercises based on the 8-function model of John Beebe, M.D., will help you get in touch with your dark side. Presenter Carol Shumate, Ph.D., is working with Beebe and Type Resources on the development of the exercises.
You will also be among the first to preview a new software tool that reports how the shadow functions might manifest for each type code, based on research with Beebe workshop participants: The Function-ArchetypeTM Decoder. The Decoder is being designed and developed by Board members David Hughey and Carol Shumate in collaboration with Type Resources.
* Costumes welcome but not required. Props will be provided for those who arrive unencumbered by their shadow side.
* Bring a dish to share — Drinks provided.
* Prizes for Scariest, Funniest, Most Surprising Shadow Side. Pandering to the judges (APT Board) is permitted.
